A teenage girl, missing for almost a week, has been found "safe and well".

Charlotte Palmer, 15, went missing from her Hartley home on Monday (April 9). She was found yesterday in Manchester.

A Kent Police spokeswoman said the force could not release why she had gone to Manchester, but said: "She has been found safe and well.

"She was taken back to Kent by her family."
