Mobile phones stolen as lorry driver sleeps

THE driver of a parked lorry woke up to find the side curtains of his vehicle had been slashed and a large quanity of mobile phones had been stolen.

The lorry was parked at Cobham Services in Watling Street, Gravesend. The Movistar phones are a light metallic blue.

The phones were in two pallets. They pallets were left behind.

The incident occurred sometime between 11pm on January 16 and 6.30am on January 17.

Anyone who saw anything suspicious in the service station between these times is asked to contact the police.
