A man was taken to hospital after a collision between a car and a motorbike in Northfleet this afternoon.

Emergency services were called to the junction between Mitchell Avenue and Colyer Road just before 1pm.

The male motorcyclist was taken to Medway Maritime Hospital with what are thought to be minor injuries.

A police spokeswoman said the vehicles involved were a Nissan Juke car and a Honda motorbike.

No other injuries were reported.
