MEMBERS of the public are being asked to help police after various musical instruments were stolen during a break-in at a Kent school.

The items taken, including an alto and bass flute, a soprano saxophone, a trumpet, a euphonium and a Yamaha keyboard, were taken from the music department at Chantry Primary School and Nursery in Ordnance Road, Gravesend.

Computer equipment, a digital camera, printer and recording equipment were also stolen.

Police in North Kent say the offenders gained entry to the premises by forcing two fire doors.
