Police have arrested two men sitting outside a church after someone was robbed in broad daylight.

The incident took place in East Milton Road, Gravesend, where the victim was threatened and then forced to hand over money.

The pair were by St. Peter and St. Paul's Church, also in East Milton Road, when they were apprehended by officers at around 11.12am today.

Police were spotted searching the graveyard of the church for evidence shortly after the crime took place.
