Budding poets, artists and writers can take part in an exhibition showcasing what they love about their town.

Jackie Byrne, of the Hummingbirds community group, is calling on people to get creative and explain what they love about Gravesend.

The best entries will then be used in an I Love Gravesend exhibition at the Blake Gallery between September 7 to 14 in the Civic Centre, Windmill Street.

People can drop in their entries to the Gravesend Messenger’s offices in the High Street, Gravesend or to Billie’s Boutique also in the High Street.
