Gravesend physio charged with sexual assaulting women during treatments

A physiotherapist has been charged after several women alleged being sexually assaulted during treatments.

Purnoor Bawa, from Gravesend, reportedly touched five victims inappropriately between 2013 and 2019.

Following a complex investigation by detectives from the North Kent vulnerability investigation team, the Crown Prosecution Service has now authorised seven charges of sexual assault against him.

Mr Bawa is due to attend Medway Magistrates’ Court on Friday, May 12.
