Kent Police is investigating a reported burglary at a store in Meopham.

It is alleged a man entered Londis in The Parade, Wrotham Road, at around 6.10pm last night and tried to steal the money box from the till.

He left empty-handed.

Nobody was injured and inquiries are ongoing.
