Faversham's Ricky Olde arrested and charged after £41,000 of cannabis plants found in Southfleet

A cannabis factory containing around 100 plants has been found by police in Southfleet.

Officers arrived at an industrial unit off Highcross Road shortly after 9am yesterday and a man was arrested at the scene.

Ricky Odle, 48, from Leaveland near Faversham, has since been charged with producing a controlled drug.

Odle has been bailed to appear before Medway magistrates on Tuesday, September 20.

In addition to the £41,000 worth of plants, police also found lighting equipment and various other drug paraphernalia.
