This is the man police want to speak to following eight burglaries across Gravesend.

Jewellery, purses and cash have been stolen in burglaries at properties in Nickelby Road, Singlewell Road and Old Road East in the last fortnight.

The suspect is a man in his 20s, around 5ft 8in, occasionally wears a high-visibility tabard and carries a book with stickers on.

He allegedly speaks poor English and claims to work as an electrician or for a utility company.

DC Richard Olley, who is investigating the burglaries, said: "We have been made aware that a man has been targeting vulnerable and older people and tricking them to gain entry to their home.

"As he pretends to check the electricity sockets in the rooms of the house he then steals items of property such as purses, cash and jewellery."

If you have information call DC Olley on 01474 336041 or call Crimestoppers anonymously on 0800 555111.
