An elderly man has been found after he went missing from his care home in Northfleet yesterday.

The man, named locally as Terence, suffers from dementia and left the Abbeyfield care home in Dene Holm Road, at around 3pm yesterday.

He was found by police just 11pm.

A police helicopter was seen flying around the Northfleet area and police cars were seen parked closed to the home.

Officers also went on a door-to-door search for the man.
