Pupils batted it out to be crowned Gravesham’s cricket champions

Pupils batted it out to be crowned Gravesham’s cricket champions.

Boys and girls in Years 5 and 6 took part in the Kwik Cricket Festival at Gravesend Cricket Club.

Cobham School beat Cecil Road in the final with a score of 236 to 228.

Cobham School Kwik Cricket Team Captain Finlay Pavey with Mayor & Mayoress of Gravesham Cllr John Caller and wife Sue.

They will now face the winner of the Dartford festival.

The winner of that match will represent Gravesham and Dartford in the Kent School Games.

The other semi-finalists were Meopham and Bronte. Also taking part were Culverstone, Gad’s Hill, Holy Trinity, Riverview, Shears Green, Shorne, Singlewell, St John’s, St Joseph’s, St Joseph’s Prep, Vigo and Wrotham Road.
