A real taste of Kent at food and drink festival

One of the biggest food and drink festivals in Kent was held over the weekend.

Munchies on the Meadow was held on Saturday at the Meadows Room in Cobham.

The day included flower arranging with the Cobham Gardeners’ Society, live music with Clare & Co and gammon curing with Roundwood Orchard Pig Farm.

Also attending was the Westerham family James, Emily and son Lucan Bradshaw who have vowed to only buy British goods for a year.

The Bradshaws aim to survive 2013 in true patriotic style after James, 34, came up with the idea, frustrated by the UK’s dismal economy.

As well as delicious food and drink to tempt the senses, there were demonstrations and tips for the wannabe Nigella or Jamie.
