Drivers have been warned to expect delays after a serious crash in Northfleet .

The A226 Thames Way has been closed between Springhead Road and Ebbsfleet Gateway Road due to investigation work following the incident last night.

Kent Police confirmed officers are at the scene of a collision between two cars on Thames Way, which happened at around 12.15am.

Road users are advised to use alternative routes.
