Emergency services were called after a crash involving a car and lorry this morning.

Police, ambulance and highways crews were called to the coastbound carriageway of the A2 at Cobham following the collision at around 8.45am.

One person was taken to hospital and the carriageway was closed while the vehicles were cleared.

Congestion was reported queuing back to Gravesend.

The road has since been reopened but drivers are warned to expect congestion.
