A man in his 20s was taken to hospital with multiple injuries after being hit by a car last night.

Police were called to Wrotham Road, Meopham, just before 7pm following reports of a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.

Additional emergency services were called and the road was subsequently closed.

The man's condition is not threatening and he is in a stable condition.
