A body believed to be that of a missing man has been found near the Shorne Woods area.

Police issued an appeal to find Leon Junior, 21, after he was reported missing from St Marks Avenue in Northfleet yesterday.

A further update has since been issued calling off the search after teams located the body of a man in an area of woodland close to Shorne Ifield Road.

Formal identification has yet to take place but Mr Junior's family has been informed.
