A Lotto ticket bought in Thanet has won £1.4million

A lucky National Lottery player from Gravesham is £113,000 better off today.

Camelot announced a £113,879 prize from the Lotto draw on June 8, which it was feared might remain outstanding – has now been claimed.

Unless the winner - who bought the ticket in the Gravesham area - opts for full publicity, no further information can be released about their win.

A National Lottery spokesman said: "We're delighted that the winner of this amazing prize has now come forward and we hope that they will enjoy their win.

"It would have been awful if the ticket-holder had missed out on this substantial and life-enhancing amount of money.

"We would like to remind all National Lottery players to check their tickets every time they play."
