Gravesend man jailed for stalking and possessing an imitation firearm in a public place

A stalker who was caught carrying an imitation firearm in public has been jailed for more than a year and a half.

Yanis Kozlovskis, of St Patricks Garden, Gravesend pleaded guilty to the offence last month.

The 28-year-old admitted stalking and possessing an imitation firearm in a public place. He was given a restraining order until further notice.

He also pleaded guilty on two counts of intending to pervert the course of justice.

Kozlovskis appeared before Woolwich Crown Court on Tuesday where he was handed a total sentence of 19 months imprisonment.

He was previously jailed for more than six years after he robbed a man at knifepoint in his own home in Gravesend .

The judge in that case said he had lived an "utterly anti-social" life, with previous convictions for drugs, violence and dishonesty.
