Gravesend: Suspected drug dealer arrested

Officers on a routine patrol arrested a 21-year-old on suspicion of drug offences.

The man was arrested in Mulberry Road, Gravesend, after police saw a car driving erratically at around 11pm last Tuesday.

Police stopped the car and searched inside the vehicle where they found a quantity of drugs which was believed to be cocaine and cannabis.

The man was arrested on suspicion of possession with intent to supply both cocaine and cannabis and also driving while unfit through drugs.

The suspect, who is from the town, remains in custody while officers continue their enquiries into the circumstances surrounding the incident.
