Swedish rockers Normandie are set to play in Gravesend as part of a European tour supporting their new album White Flag.

Formed in 2013, the band had a huge response to their debut album 'Inguz', hitting several positions in the Billboard Chart and winning a deal with Easy Life Records - home to Lower Than Atlantis, Arcane Roots, Waterparks and more - earlier this year.

The resultant album is 'White Flag' - 12 tracks that build on a big, anthemic sound - and the up-and-coming band have set off on a tour of Europe to support its release, playing dates in Germany, Sweden, Finland, the Czech Republic and the UK.

Five UK gigs will begin with Leo's Red Lion in Crete Hall Rd, Gravesend, on Monday July 8, where they'll be supported by Kent-based band Maven - who headlined Herofest at the Red Lion last year - and new band Valley Drive, who will play their first show when they open the gig at 7pm.

It could be the chance to catch the Swedes before they get really big. With almost 30,000 followers on Facebook, their new album surpassed three million streams in the first month of its release, and the band have received support from the Radio 1 Rock Show, Kerrang! Radio & TV, Rock Sound, Scuzz TV and more throughout their short career.

The band’s have already developed a strong live show with several headline runs, tours supporting bands like Yellowcard, Hands Like Houses, Crossfaith and numerous festival appearances under their belts, including their Download Festival (UK) debut in 2017, Reading & Leeds (UK) 2018 and Rockfest (FI) 2018.

Kent pop-rock band Maven having shared the stage with bands like The Feeling, Scouting for Girls, Crazytown and Elliot Minor, and have earned the respect of fans with their catchy choruses and rocky edge - sharing elements of their sound with bands such as Don Broco, Bring Me The Horizon, Young Guns and more.

They'll also be returning to Dartford Festival the following week alongside The Lightning Seeds, Bjorn Again, The Farm and Victor and the Bully - from 1pm on Sunday, July 14.
