Teenager arrested after man slashed with broken bottle in King Street, Gravesend

A teenager has been arrested after a man was slashed in a street attack.

The 23-year-old victim was attacked with what was believed to have been a broken bottle.

He was taken to hospital with a wound to his arm following the incident in King Street, Gravesend.

His injuries were described as "serious", but he is now in a stable condition.

Police were called to the scene at 6.10pm yesterday, and arrested a 16-year-old boy on suspicion of assault.
