A 14-year-old girl has been reported missing from her home in Gravesend.

Shayla-Mae Carter, was last seen in the town yesterday and police have launched an appeal urging anyone with information to get in touch.

She is described as having long black hair and is about 5ft 9in.

It is thought she may have been wearing a black leather style jacket and black sliders.

Police believe she could be in the north Kent or south east London.

Anyone with information is asked to call Kent Police on 101 quoting reference 10-1524.
