Teenager bailed after man slashed with broken bottle in King Street, Gravesend

A teenager arrested after a man was slashed in a street attack has been bailed.

The 16-year-old boy was arrested on suspicion of assault after police were called to King Street, Gravesend, on Sunday at 6.10pm.

He has been bailed until Monday, September 21 pending further inquiries.

A 23-year-old man was taken to hospital with a wound to his arm after he was attacked with what was believed to have been a broken bottle.

His injuries were described as "serious", but he is now in a stable condition.
