Police arrest three people in Rochester Road, Gravesend, after reports of early morning burglary

Around five police vehicles were spotted early this morning after responding to reports of a burglary.

Officers could be seen in the Thong Lane area of Gravesend at around 2am this morning.

Police confirmed they were called at 1.26am to reports of a burglary taking place in Rochester Road, Gravesend.

Spokesman Jo Pattison said: "Officers attended the scene and following an area search two men were arrested on suspicion of burglary.

"They are a 25-year-old man from Rotherhithe and a 32-year-old man of no fixed address.

"A 27-year-old woman from Gravesend was also arrested on suspicion of obstructing police officers."

All three remain in custody and inquiries are ongoing.
