Pepperhill household waste site will re-open next week after being shut for repair work.

The tip, in Station Road, Southfleet, closed in August to repair part of the roof that was damaged during a fire in April last year.

It will reopen on Monday, October 21, with works still being carried out on the site for a while longer.

However, use of the site won't be affected.

During the closure of the site waste for both Gravesham and Dartford councils was diverted to ensure services continued and people were advised to use the Swanley and Medway sites.
