Two people have been arrested on suspicion of burglary.

An 18-year-old man and a 17-year-old boy were detained by police on the Imperial Business Estate, in Gravesend, in the early hours this morning.

Officers were called at 1.20am to reports of a store being broke into and nine minutes later nearby officers patrolling arrested one of the suspects.

They continued to search the area and a second person was arrested just before 1am.

Stolen items including power tools were recovered by police.

The due, both from Northfleet, remain in custody.
