Two dead in A2 coach smash

TWO men have died following a crash in the early hours of this morning between a car and a coach.

Both male passengers in a red car were killed and 15 adults travelling in the coach were taken to Medway Maritime Hospital after the incident.

Police were called at 1.40am this morning, Sunday, October 28.

All 15 adults in the coach are currently receiving treatment for their injuries, which are not life-threatening.

Kent Fire and Rescue Service were forced to cut the two men out from the car.

Police are currently enforcing road closures on the A2 between Cobham Junction and the A289.

London bound traffic is unaffected.

Police are appealing for witnesses to the collision who are asked to phone 01622 798535.
