Main Road, Longfield, closed after two-car crash

A man and woman were taken to hospital after a car ended up on its roof in Main Road, Longfield, today.

Police and ambulance were called to a collision between two cars just after 3pm.

A police spokesman said: "Police officers and South East Coast Ambulance Service went to the scene where a man and woman received medical attention.

"They were both taken to a local hospital for further treatment."

Officers remained at the scene and kept the road closed until the car on its roof was righted and taken away.

The crash was near St Mary's Church.

The road is the main route between Dartford and Meopham.

Note: Original reports said the crash was in Station Road.
