Gravesend Old Town Hall targeted by vandals which lead to £500 reward

Vandals have daubed Gravesend's historic Old Town Hall with graffiti, leading bosses to put up a £500 reward to catch those responsible.

The reward was posted on the Gravesend Old Town Hall Facebook page after the Grade II building was defaced at the weekend.

It reads: "Please share these photographs and help stop this mindless vandalism.

"Sometime between 4pm on Saturday 27th June 2015 and 10am on Sunday 28th June 2015 the graffiti in the pictures below was written on the walls of the Old Town Hall in Gravesend. The building is a Grade II* listed heritage venue and is one of Gravesend's most historic assets.

"Old Town Hall Limited will pay a reward of up to £500 for information that results in the successful prosecution of the person/s responsible.

The appeal was posted on Facebook

"Please telephone us on 01474 550 023 if you can help. The CCTV can only do so much in identifying people."
