Video of quad and bike riders in Princes Road, Dartford

Footage has emerged showing off-road bikers running riot in Dartford.

The incident was filmed on a dashboard camera and shows nine bikers and three quad bike riders weaving dangerously in and out of traffic, mounting the pavement and riding through a red light, at the junction of Princes Road and Lowfield Street.

The footage was captured at 11.20am this morning, by a driver who spoke of an "epidemic" of off-road vehicles causing "mayhem" in the area.

Many of the bikes are without plates, meaning they are untraceable.

Members of the group were also reportedly spotted doing wheelies in front of oncoming cars.

There were other reports, on social media, that groups of bikers were creating havoc at the Cyclopark in Istead Rise, Gravesend.

Police received two reports of nuisance vehicles in Dartford and Gravesend over the weekend.

The first, officers were called to Watling Street, Gravesend, at 2.54pm on Saturday, February 24.

The suspects were warned about their conduct and their activity in the future. They were then moved away from the area.

The second, officers were called to Princes Way, Dartford, at 3.36pm on Sunday, February 25.

An extensive search was carried out however the suspects had already left the area.
