Firefighters were called to a bedroom blaze at a house in Frobisher Way, Gravesend, on Saturday.

The fire is thought to have started in an immersion heater shortly before 3.30pm. A firefighter at Thames-side station said the damage was mainly contained to the immersion cupboard.

A woman was treated for smoke inhalation at the scene.
