Woman in hospital after being found in Waterdales, Northfleet

A woman who sparked a huge police hunt after going missing from her Gravesend home has been reportedly found in the boot of a car.

Police were called yesterday over concerns for the welfare of a woman in her 40s - reported missing from her home in Gravesend at 6.30pm.

The woman was found in Waterdales in Northfleet

Last night, the police helicopter was helping patrols with a search of the area.

The woman was located in Waterdales, Northfleet, at around 10.10pm and was unconscious, an ambulance spokesman said.

There are unconfirmed reports that she was found in the boot of a car.

She taken to hospital for treatment, but police said there were no suspicious circumstances around the incident.
