Akinde agrees new Fleet deal

John Akinde recently broke into Fleet's first team

TEENAGE striker John Akinde has signed a new contract at Ebbsfleet United which will keep him at Stonebrigdge Road until the end of next season.

The 18-year-old has recently broken into the first team, making his Fleet debut on November 29 against Woking and scoring four goals in seven appearances, after loan spells at Whitstable and Margate.

Meanwhile, midfielder Lee Maskell has joined Sutton United of the Blue Square South on a month's loan - the 18-year-old has made two appearances for the Fleet from the bench after graduating through the youth ranks.
