John Akinde has netted twice in two games

Stafford v Ebbsfleet

EBBSFLEET travel to struggling Stafford Rangers looking for their first league win in four games.

The Fleet last picked up three points when they defeated Saturday's opponents at Stonebridge Road on November 24.

Rangers are only kept from the bottom spot on goal difference having just won once all season, and parted company with manager Phil Robinson at the beginning of December.

Evergreen striker Neil Grayson, 43, has taken temporary charge with teammate Kevin Street, and the duo have overseen two league defeats, one draw plus an FA Trophy victory over Ossett Town.

Ebbsfleet’s teenage striker John Akinde is pressing for a start after coming off the bench to score in his side’s 1-1 draw with Grays on Boxing Day.

That goal followed a strike in the 3-2 Setanta Shield victory over Exeter.

Skipper Paul McCarthy is not available, after being sent off for a deliberate handball against Grays.
