Charlie MacDonald could return

Gravesend & Northfleet v Tamworth

GRAVESEND boss Liam Daish believes top scorer Charlie MacDonald has an outside chance of being fit for the visit of second-from-bottom Tamworth to Stonebridge Road on Saturday.

Meanwhile, the club have cancelled the contract of injury-plagued central defender Graham Porter who has been on loan with Maidenhead and more recently Heybridge Swifts.

Tamworth could include former Gillingham striker Tommy Johnson in their side.

Fleet have re-introduced their Kids for a Quid initiative in a bid to boost crowd numbers for Saturday's clash. Anyone under the age of 16 will be admitted for £1.

Neighbours Charlton and Gillingham are both playing away from home so club officials are hopeful for a significant jump in attendance from the poor showing of 618 against Hereford.
