DAISH: "This is what it's all about, this is what we get involved in football for"

Dagenham & Redbridge v Gravesend & Northfleet

GRAVESEND boss Liam Daish has challenged his players to rise to the biggest game in the club's recent history.

The Fleet stand to sneak into the final Conference play-off spot if they can win at champions Dagenham & Redbridge on Saturday, and results at rivals Burton and Exeter go their way.

With a massive Gravesend following likely to make the short trip across the Thames to Victoria Road and the Daggers intent on celebrating their championship, Daish wants his players to relish the occasion.

He said: "It's the biggest game I've been involved in since I became manager. I think it's the biggest game the club have had for a few years.

"This is what it's all about, this is what we get involved in football for. It will be a lot of pressure but they must go out and enjoy the challenge. They have worked hard for this."

Fleet have a fully-fit squad to choose from, with Mark DeBolla (hamstring) in training, while Sacha Opinel has served his suspension for his red card against Southport.
