DAISH: "We won individual battles and that was the difference"

Gravesend & Northfleet 2 Exter City 2

A DELIGHTED Liam Daish was full of praise for his players after a rousing second half comeback against Exeter City at Stonebridge Road on Saturday.

He said: "There were a lot of guts and a lot of character on show in that second half and all credit to the players. I thought they were magnificent.

"We were more aggressive all round the pitch, won more tackles, won more headers and got closer to people. We won individual battles and that was the difference."
