No further action will be taken over Kwesi Appiah's move

Ebbsfleet say they accept the Football Association’s decision to take no action against League 1 side Peterborough over their approach for young striker Kwesi Appiah.

The commission found the case “not proven” after sitting for an hour on Monday at the FA headquarters in Soho Square to discuss Ebbsfleet’s complaint. The Blue Square Premier club were represented by chairman John Moules, chief executive David Davis, manager Liam Daish and secretary Roly Edwards.

In a statement, Ebbsfleet said: “The Commission decided that based on the evidence available, the case could not be proved and no further action would be taken.

“The club accepts the decision. Even though in this instance, our preferred outcome was not achieved, the club will follow the same procedure should a similar situation occur in the future.”
