DAISH: "The lads have earned that year and can go away on their holidays knowing that they've got another year's employment"

EBBSFLEET United manager Liam Daish has announced that seven players have agreed new contracts for next season.

Daish is also in the process of negotiating deals with nine of the Fleet's first-team squad, while four players have been released.

He said: "On the football side we don't look much past a year, but the lads have earned that year and can go away on their holidays knowing that they've got another year's employment."

Chukki Eribenne is currently in negotiations with Daish and the Fleet boss is hoping to secure a permanent deal after the former Weymouth striker joined the club on loan in March.
