Kezie Ibe was denied by a finger tip save

Ebbsfleet 0 Grays 1

Ebbsfleet United manager Liam Daish demanded that his attack sharpen up after their shock Boxing Day derby home defeat by Grays.

"We've got to take our chances and I've told the players that," said Daish.

"It was such a disappointing day for everyone concerned. Now, we've got to pick ourselves up and do a lot better."

Relegation-threatened Grays chalked up a third win in four days thanks to a 78th minute winner from substitute Jamie Slabber.

Slabber decided the outcome with his first touch when he headed home a cross from Wes Thomas following slick approach work from the impressive Ishmael Welsh.

At the other end, Grays goalkeeper Steve Arnold did well to keep out a powerful drive from Stacy Long.

He then followed up with a finger-tip save to deny Kezie Ibe.
