Charlie MacDonald scored Fleet's second goal

Gravesend & Northfleet 2 – 0 Altricham

A GOAL either side of half-time gave Gravesend a deserved victory against Altrincham at Stonebridge Road on Saturday.

Fleet took the lead just before the break when Charlie MacDonald latched onto a long ball and his cross was finished off by Andy Drury.

And MacDonald turned goalscorer to double Gravesend’s lead on 53 minutes when he slipped his marker on the edge of the box before beating the keeper with a fine left-footed shot.
