Fleet boss LIam Daish is without key defenders for tonight's clash with Histon

EBBSFLEET UNITED manager Liam Daish is facing a defensive crisis ahead of their home match against Histon tonight.

Captain Paul McCarthy will serve the first of a three match suspension following his sending off in Fleet’s 1-0 defeat against Stevenage Borough on Saturday.

Sacha Opinel missed the game with a calf injury while Mark Ricketts is still recovering from a knee injury.

Michael Bostwick was drafted into defence and could play there again.

Raphael Nade could also feature after coming off the bench against Stevenage.

Daish said: "I was pleased with Raph. He provided us with pace and presence and has given me a little bit of food for thought. We need some bodies back, and in particular defenders back quickly."

Histon go into the game on the back of a 2-0 win over Salisbury.
