GOAL: John Akinde

Crawley 1 Ebbsfleet United 2

EBBSFLEET United came from behind to secure a vital win at Crawley as they bid to reach the Blue Square Premier play-offs.

Jamie Cook gave the home side a fourth-minute lead from close range.

But the Fleet were level 10 minutes later when in-form John Akinde latched into Sasha Opinel's pass before beating keeper Ashley Bayes from the edge of the box.

The winner came in the 33rd minute when the unfortunate Glenn Wilson turned a cross into his own net.

Ebbsfleet now sit six points off Cambridge City who occupy the finalplay-off place with a game in hand.

They now face another tough 220-mile trip to second-place Torquay on Saturday.

Boss Liam Daish said: "We just have to try and keep our run going. I'd be surprised if we win every league game but having said that we want to continue going out to win each game."
