GRAVESEND & Northfleet FC have pencilled in attractive pre-season friendlies against neighbours Gillingham and Millwall.

The now ritual pre-season friendly against the Gills will be played on Saturday, July 26, while fellow Nationwide League club Millwall visit on Thursday, July 17.

Fleet manager Andy Ford said: "Both clubs will be sending strong sides so they'll be attractive games."

Meanwhile, it's been announced that former Chelsea legend Ron "Chopper" Harris will be the guest at Gravesend and Northfleet’s annual sportsmans’ dinner at the Manor Hotel, Gravesend on Friday, May 16. Tickets are priced at £35 a head and can be obtained by telephoning 01474 533796.
