DAISH: "We've put a good run together so we have to fancy our chances of doing well"

Gravesend & Northfleet v Kidderminster

GRAVESEND manager Liam Daish believes the pressure is on his side to deliver with two home games in four days.

First up at Stonebridge Road are Kidderminster on Saturday and then the Fleet host Forest Green on Tuesday.

After a run of just one defeat in seven matches, the Fleet are well placed in 10th place in the Nationwide Conference table and can push on with two positive results.

Daish said: "The pressure is on us now to win these games. It's another ex-League side in Kiddersminster on Saturday so that will be another tough match for us.

"At the moment we are looking solid at the back and creating chances when we go forward. We've put a good run together so we have to fancy our chances of doing well."

Gravesend will be hoping that their 4-0 thrashing of Halifax Town last weekend followed by the 1-1 draw at Hereford in midweek will boost the numbers through the turnstiles.

Daish said: "It would be nice to get a few more through the gate and hopefully the last couple of results will encourage people to come down.

"We're doing well at the moment and we need people to get behind us."

Daish must decide whether to recall left-back Justin Skinner after Danny Glozier put in a solid display against Hereford.
