BACK: Paul McCarthy

Weymouth v Ebbsfleet United

FLEET manager Liam Daish welcomes back captain Paul McCarthy for Saturday's Blue Square Premier trip to Weymouth.

McCarthy missed Tuesday night's 1-0 home defeat to Histon through suspension and will take over the captain's armband again from Danny Slatter.

The return of the Fleet skipper should also see Michael Bostwick move back into midfield having played in defence against Histon.

"We've got to get back to what we're paid to do," said Daish, who questioned his side's desire following the Histon defeat.

"We have to pull together and work hard as a group. There are a lack of options due to injuries so maybe they are in the comfort zone knowing that I have to rely on them."

Daish is unlikely to have any of his injured players back in time for the Weymouth clash while striker Raphael Nade (thigh) will be assessed prior to the game.
