Rectory Field hosts a huge rugby clash this weekend when title rivals Gravesend and Chichester lock horns in London 1 South.

Chichester are top of the table but Gravesend will go above them if they record an eighth straight league win.

Coach Matt Williams wants to take the club up two divisions by 2016 and appreciates the significance of this weekend’s showdown.

He said: "The rest of the league will be looking at this result. If we win, it’s going to be difficult for the other teams to catch us.

"If we win every game between now and the end of the season, we’ll win the league. And if we play well on Saturday, we’ll win.

"It’s going to be a tough game. Chichester have got to try to win but we’re in a good place at the moment. Our defence is epic, as our results have shown, and the only reason they’re top is their bonus points."

Kick-off is at 2.30pm.
