Kent Cup final may not be played until pre-season

The Kent Senior Cup final between Ebbsfleet and Cray could end up being played next pre-season.

The match has been provisionally arranged for Saturday, May 3, but confirmation will only be given at short notice due to Cray's involvement in Ryman League play-offs.

Cray have already made it through to the Division 1 South play-off semi-finals which will take place on Tuesday, April 29.

If Cray win this tie, their play-off final will then take precedence over the Kent Senior Cup final and be played on May 3 instead.

The final could then - with the agreement of the Kent FA - take place in pre-season for the 2008/09 season.
