York 0 Ebbsfleet United 1
Ebbsfleet kept their slim play-off hopes alive with a 1-0 victory at York on Saturday.
The only goal of the game came after just eight minutes when Stacy Long's 25-yard free kick took a wicked deflection to give Tom Evans no chance in the York goal.
It took his tally for the season to 12 and left Ebbsfleet 11 points off the play-offs with games in hand.
Long could have grabbed a second before half-time but this time Evans was equal to his set piece.
York's best chance came on 65 minutes but Stuart Elliot failed to find the target with an inviting volley.
Ebbsfleet: Cronin, Ricketts, Hawkins, Charles, Bull, McPhee, Hearn, Bostwick, Long (Barrett 90), Nade, Purcell (Moore 77).
Subs not used: Mott, Maskell, Stubbs.
